Colors of Zaki
by Shalen Holt

Colors of Zaki (pronounced Zaw-kee) is a colorful tale about a young zebra on his adventure to find happiness.

After seeing a rainbow, Zaki no longer wants to be black and white. He wants to become RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, and even PURPLE! He will stop at nothing to become colorful.

This story teaches the idea that anyone can become anything if they believe in themselves. The story takes the reader on a journey of trial and error and teaches children to pursue their dreams despite any problems or troubles that may arise.
