by Rev. Dr. Carlton C. Wu

This book is a true story of the authorís life and works. The main purpose for writing this book is to glorify God for His wonderful love and guidance in his life.

The first part of the book describes the authorís early life in China. It was the period of war between China and Japan and then the National Communists. He had to move from place to place. His familyís poverty made it impossible for him to attend school. With the assistance of the Lutheran Church, he was able to attend middle school and eventually came to the United States.

In 1958 he was asked to be the pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Champlain and Rouses Point, New York. He served in the church for thirty-seven years. In his book, he points out the things he did that brought him joy and happiness and told the reasons why he served so long in the same church. He had a happy ministry. He said if he had another life to live, he would enter into the ministry again. It is an honor and privilege to serve God.
