by Rev. Fr. Tom Harper

The fact that most of us believe in Soma (God) shows we have hope. Hope is the one thing that keeps us going and gives meaning to our lives. Hope is identical to faith.

The Holy Kabal was written in order to observe faith as an inseparable part of human nature and to place a psychological importance on meditation and contemplation. Meditating on numbers, symbols, and oratory are the ways humankind has usually made advancements. Contemplation of the results will help guide individuals toward their destinies.

The belief in a divine being has been the foundation for the conformity of the masses since the idea of a supreme intelligence was understood and thought plausible. The Holy Kabal teaches a Somist that even though Soma may exist, humankind should strive for peace and harmony by using our own logic and reason, rather than expecting a divine intervention.

I have a personal view of divinity that I feel has helped me overcome life’s obstacles, and I want to share what I believe with others.

I enjoy self-expression through art, music, and meditation. I am also very proud of my family and friends, and I would like to thank them for their support.

Special thanks to my wife, Kristina, and my children, Cheyenne, Keegan, Kaidyn, and Lorelei.

This work is dedicated to Kenneth, James, and Chris.
