About the Author
Odey Akiri hails from the village of Ayinkang in Bekwarra Cross-Rivers State in Nigeria. He moved to the United States in 2007.
He developed an interest in writing after reading the works of Nigerian essayists Dan Agbese, Pat Utomi, and Reuben Abati. Their commentaries about socio-economic and political issues in Nigeria inspired Akiri to try to publish his own writing. He prefers to write fiction and considers James Hadley Chase and Emily Bronte to be among his favorite novelists.
