by Walter Trent
For Marcus and Angela, childhood in Pittsburgh was heaven. With loving parents and an unbreakable friendship, Angela grew into her beauty and was his “Angel” as Marcus perfected his artistic talent. But when a horrible event forced Angel to move, the childhood friends fell deep into America’s underground, turning paradise into a world filled with drugs, burglary, affairs, prison, death, and revenge.
As Marcus and Angel weave in and out of each other’s lives, the course of their friendship along with the people they befriend and betray will help seal their fate forever.
The Price of Love will leave you asking: Where did they go wrong, and why does it all lead to a black squirrel?
