by Tami Hester Johnson

The Royal Egg Hunt is a children's story about a princess whose love of eggs changes her entire kingdom. Princess Catherine loves eggs so much, and since she is so adored by her entire staff, they are constantly working to bring her more eggs.

Seth, a dragon, is the only being in the kingdom who loves eggs more than Princess Catherine. One night, in a jealous fit over her wide assortment of beautifully colored eggs, Seth goes into the castle and steals all of her eggs. The next day, a royal egg hunt is declared and it isn't long before Catherine finds Seth and her eggs. She finds out that some time ago, Seth lost his manners and cannot find them anywhere. So Catherine, after retrieving her eggs, helps him find his manners.

The Royal Egg Hunt is an adventurous story that also educates young readers about the importance of keeping one's manners at all time. The author's use of this entertaining story allows for an easy transition to the valuable lesson the young readers learn.
