by Mary Ann Thomas
Untangling the Thorns is based on the biblical Parable of the Seeds in Matt. 13. It is the personal testimony of the author.
Emotionally, mentally, and sexually abused by her father and neglected by her mother throughout her childhood, the only things keeping her sane is her faith in God. Resentful and bitter as an adult, she turns her back on God, but God wonít let her go.
Gradually God starts showing her His everlasting love. Patiently God leads her down a path of hard-learned lessons, which eventually bring her closer to God than she ever could have realized. As each lesson unfolds, she draws closer to God, learns to love, learns to forgive, and accepts her calling from God.
